The app, created by students of Dr. Ahmed Mahdy, Director of The Innovation in Computing Research Labs (iCORE), allows for users to easily connect with the University Police Department 24-hours a day. The app is one of the first of its kind developed for a college campus.

The new interactive app was created by the University’s iCORE (Innovation in Computing Research) Labs. The app provides students with an up-to-date list of study sessions offered during each semester by the SOAR Program.
As the Founding Director of iCORE, Mahdy leads this research, development, and commercialization group. Their mission is to discover new knowledge, sciences, and technologies in computing and related fields.
Hadimlioglu, who received a Master of Science in Computer Science this spring, developed the Intelligent Transition Generator computer application which analyzes the properties of two different songs and smoothly transitions them.
